A new face for me was my dear friend Jenni's daughter Delaney. We were thrilled at the fun the girls had together. Maybe they can room together at Taylor someday!
Aunt Chris seems to be destined for flight delays when coming to Indiana! We were so glad when she arrived... though Evelyn had gotten used to having her bed as a playground by day. Who knew that flopping on pillows and tucking yourself in could be so much fun? I was glad to see that Evelyn is just as content and easy to entertain out on the road as at home. And what a treat to be back home with my sister! I even ate at Pizza King because I love her!

No, there is no snow in DC here in June! I'm in the midst of catching up. So here we are back in January. The snow was disappointing to the boy who remembers the three feet of it last year and received a sled for Christmas, but it was a wonderfully heavy sticky snow. The snowballs and snowmen were great! And Drew was big enough this year to help Mr. Brian with the real snow blower! I think our snow family was the best gift we have ever shared with the neighborhood. Drew got lots of compliments on them, but their accessories had to come in at night on his insistence that they might be stolen. It was his Lightening McQueen hat after all.
Building with blocks has been growing on Evelyn... especially since she can knock down her own towers - but not brother's buildings!
